Pitkästä aikaa Revontulta / Long time no see Northern lights

Edellisen Revontuli-huivin olen tehnyt vajaa kaksi vuotta sitten, joten johan nyt oli aika neuloa se nro 12. Yhä vain tykkään sen neulomisesta. =)

I have knitted the last Northern Lights Shawl almost two years ago. So it sure was now time for the 12th one. I still love knitting it! =)

Käytin tähän Revontuleen kolme vanhaa vyyhdin loppua ja ihan se ei riittänyt. Piti korkata yksi uusi vyyhti. Se, joka näkyy kerittynä edellisessä postauksessa. Ja kun tämä huivi valmistui torstaina kotimatkalla Merenlahdelta, piti tietysti heti aloittaa seuraavakin Revontuli. =) Seuraavaksi aion kuitenkin neuloa valmiiksi Esikon palmikkojakun, joka on odottanut keskentekoisena jo turhan kauan.

I used three old left over skeins and it wasn't just enough. So I had to start a new skein, that one you have seen in the previous post. And after I finished this shawl on the way home from Merenlahti I of course had to start immediately the next Northern Lights. =) But first I am going to finish my Fistborn's cable jacket. It has waited already too long.

Merenlahdella vietimme mukavan iltapäivän vielä vähän kevään ylioppilaita juhlistaen, syöden, saunoen ja hyvästä seurasta nauttien.

We spent a cosy afternoon in Merenlahti by celebrating still a bit new undergraduates, eating, saunaing and enjoying a great company.

Maisemakin oli mahtava! Kaunis kiitos isäntäväelle!

And the wiev was also just gorgeous!
